Dear Friends:
It feels like our school year is rushing by! Our last regular teaching session with the kids in our program will be on Saturday, April 11. We will leave from Santa Fe in at least 2 vehicles on Friday, if anyone wishes to go with us and check out this mission field! One van will return Saturday evening after supper, and the other will return on Sunday around noon, so you have options! If you are interested in going, please call me or Pat to talk about it! (505)690-8302 or (505) 670-5659.
As you know, our theme this year has been all about the family, centered on Joshua 24:15 “As for me and my family, we will serve the LORD!” Each month, we talk about different families in the Bible and how God loves to work through families who are dedicated to Him. The first social unit God created in the Bible was the family, and there was a reason for that. Together, we are much more effective than when we operate alone. Together, more blessings come. Together, there is greater strength to withstand hardships. Together, we can become a multi-generatonal blessing that extends far beyond our lives on this earth. This month, we are focusing on the revelation to Peter that Jesus was the long-awaited Messiah, and how Jesus paid the price of His life to restore our relationship with Him, so that we could enter into the Kingdom of Messiah.
Last month, Angel & Ceci Gonzalez held a marriage dinner and teaching that was very well received, and hopefully a blessing to married couples in Palomas. We also talked about how God used Noah and his family to give the whole world a fresh start!
It is already time for us to begin preparing for next school year! We will be taking pictures of new students who with to enter our program for the coming school year, and we will be busy planning a big Mother’s Day Fiesta for May, and then we move into graduation in June.
May will be a very busy time with the Fiesta, and we would love to have plenty of volunteers to help it to run smoothly!
May the Lord Bless you and keep you, may He make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; May He turn His face towards you and give you peace.
Jim & Pat
